WD supplies a solution to this problem, with our advanced anti-spam/anti-virus solution which is able to stop 90% of spam.
We supply a Linux server which resides on your premises either behind an exchange server or on your desktop were it collects your mail and scans it before it is received. This method ensures that your broadband is not wasted on downloading junk mail.
Our spam solution mails each client on a daily basis with a list of blocked mails and gives the user the option to deliver them. If spam manages to get through the spam blocker it can be sent to a spam address and will be blocked in the future.
It is also possible to directly view the front-end of the spam filter and teach it which mails to filter directly.
WD's spam filters works on artificial intelligence and actually looks at the content of the mail rather then who it is from and learns spams, therefore whether it comes from different or the same mail address it would not make a difference.
