How Does It Work?
The first step is for Wireless dimensions to register a DSL Realm with the Telecommunications Provider Telkom on your behalf. A Realm simply tells us what users are allowed to login and which are not. We know this as authentication. Typically, a Realm looks similar to an email address in the form of:
username@realm-name.co.za
If you register the Realm myinternetbusiness.co.za, users will use that realm as their username in their ADSL Modem Setup. For example if you create a user "john" under your control panel his username will be: john@myinternetbusiness.co.za
Your Realm normally takes about 1 - 2 weeks to be registered with the provider.
While Wireless Dimensions await activation of the Realm, we ask you to send us your Logo. Your control panel is completely re-branded so users never know that you are having the service supplied by us unless you tell them.
Simply select the amount of bandwidth in Gigabytes that you wish to supply your client with, add their username and your ready to go. The system will automatically provision the account on the Wireless Dimension Servers and enable access for your user to connect immediately.
Users will receive a bandwidth notification if they are about to exceed the limit provided. Users can easily login to your re-branded control panel and top themselves up for convenience. You will receive a notification of a top-up allowing you to keep your billing information up to date.

Does Wireless Dimensions Have Security Advances On Their Servers?
Yes, all Wireless Dimensions servers have tightened security for protection against spammers, intruders and other malicious internet activities.
Does Wireless Dimensions Offer Unshaped and Shaped Bandwidth?
Yes, when creating an account, you may choose what type of bandwidth you supply your client with.
What Is The Difference Between Shaped and Unshaped Bandwidth?
Simply put, Unshaped Bandwidth has a lower latency. Latency is the response time a query takes to get from one computer to another. Typically the majority of ADSL accounts are Shaped as the need for Unshaped Bandwidth should only be supplied where users are extremely bandwidth intensive and demand low latency, IE: VOIP Application.
Can I Supply My Clients With Other Internet Connection Options?
Yes. Wireless Dimensions provides you with the ability to resell ADSL as well as ISDN (Both 64K & 128K) and Dialup.
