EZ VPN Solution
EZ VPN is a flexible wholesale product which sells ADSL-based VPNs on South Africa's IP Network.
EZ VPN introduces flexibility by allowing the ISP to control each customer's sites access to the VPN.
What Does It Do?
EZ VPN allows an ISP to offer the end-customer MPLS-based VPNs with the ease of managing a User database. EZ VPN allows an ISP to connect its customers multiple sites into a private network. All sites use ADSL as an access technology. The ISP is able to sell an efficient VPN to the end-customer without the cumbersome IPsSec and SSL overheads, complex management issues and site limitations.

EZ VPN is a product that is targeted to South African ISPs and current WD Resellers that:

- Want to replace their current se of IPSec/SSL VPN products with a more affordable option

How It Works
Our routers are WRT54GL's with our custom firmware loaded.
We configure the routers for split access whereby one modem will control the ADSL VPN and the other the ADSL Outbound. The router is pre-configured with static routes allowing for VPN traffic to pass. The bonus is that all VPN traffic is local, which means bandwidth is cheap. Branches authenticate on our radius server with a specific realm and then utilize the ADSL network (Not the internet) for private and secure routing between brances. As the ADSL network becomes a hub, no bandwidth is wasted from head office.
